Wanda Kippenbrock
(1935 - 2012)
A simple philosophy governs Wanda's work: she deals only with joy, in the beauty of the world around us, in the positive!

As vibrant and full of life as her paintings, Wanda Kippenbrock has education and experience in floriculture and horticulture, as well as art. Her intimate knowledge of flowers began at the age of 16, when she first worked as a floral designer at a flower shop in her native Texas.

Through the years, she has painted many portraits (including her grandson, her cat "TiTi", and even a self- portrait), and beautiful Impressionist landscapes. But Wanda is best known for her magnificent florals - some big, bold, and dramatic (the word, "Wow" best describes these!), others so breathtakingly
delicate one can almost detect the flowers' scents and feel their velvety petals.

Although Wanda's work is constantly evolving into glorious and exciting new series, she has a remarkable ability to retain her own distinctive style that is refreshingly, unmistakably: "Wanda".
